Chalkboard Education meets President Macron

Our company’s mission is to make education accessible to everyone.

We truly believe that education is the main pillar for sustainable development. President Macron chose to give his first major speech in Africa at the Université de Ouagadougou. A huge symbol, and controversies aside, the message was clear: in a continent where 2/3 of the population is younger than 25, these young people are our hope. We need to empower them, through education and knowledge to equip them with the skills they need to tackle the big challenges of this continent.

On the last leg of his African tour, we had the pleasure of hosting President Macron and his team, including the Minister of Digital Economy, at the Impact Hub Accra. They tried the Chalkboard Education app and learnt how we are using mobile technology to transform education in West Africa.
